This article explains how to edit the sections in the Company Configuration group of the Company Settings screen: Company Information, Onboarding Documents, Custom Fields and New City Addition. Users with the View Company Settings permission can open this screen; saving Company Information and Onboarding Documents, and adding, editing or deleting custom fields and cities, requires the company admin role or the Company Permission Settings permission. With only the view permission the Update button and the Add, edit and delete controls on the Custom Fields and New City Addition cards are not shown; the records are only listed.
Before you start
You need the View Company Settings permission (Manage Permissions).
Have your tax office, tax number and full address ready.
Prepare your logos as .jpeg, .jpg or .png files (up to 20 MB).
Step by step
Company information and logos
In the left menu, go to Configuration > Company settings. The screen opens on the Company Information section.
Fill in the fields. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required:
General Information: Company Name, Company Short Name, and Sector if one is recorded.
Contact Information: Company Email, Company Website, Telephone Number* and an optional second phone.
Tax Information: Tax Office, Tax Number.
Address Information: Country* and Address*. If the country is Turkey, City, Town, Neighbourhood and Zip Code also appear.
Under Company Logos, upload a logo to both Company Logo (Big) and Company Logo (Small). A file is uploaded as soon as you drop it. Both fields must have a logo; if you have only one logo, upload the same file to both.
Click Update at the top right of the card.
If you uploaded a file to only one logo field, the warning "Please upload a logo to both logo upload fields!" appears and nothing is saved; close it with Continue and upload the other logo too.
Onboarding documents
This list sets the document names requested from newly hired employees.
Click Onboarding Documents in the settings menu on the left.
Select or clear the documents to request in the list. For a document that is not in the list, type its name in Add New File Name and press Enter or click Add; the name is kept as you typed it. When your selection differs from the saved list, the card header shows Unsaved Changes.
Click Update at the top right of the card to save the list.
Custom fields
Custom fields are extra details you ask employees to fill in.
Click Custom Fields and choose Add at the top right of the card.
Enter a Header (up to 255 characters), choose the Data Entry Type (Text Field or Date Field) and answer Is field required?, then save.
Edit an existing field with the pencil icon or delete it with the bin icon. If data has already been saved for the field, you get an extra warning before deleting; deletion is permanent.
Work cities
In New City Addition you manage the list of cities that can be selected in employee details. Click Add at the top right of the card and enter the city name; it is saved as you type it and the list shows it with capitalised words (for example "Atasehir Office"). The pencil icon opens Edit City; save your change with Update. The bin icon opens the Delete City confirmation; the city is deleted when you click Delete.
Result
When the company information is saved, a success message for "Company Information" appears. The logos are used in the top bar of the application and in company outputs. The document list and custom fields appear on the screens employees fill in.
