Digital Credit is the company balance spent on usage-based operations in Teamso: approvals with a TÜBİTAK timestamp, verification SMS messages and AI features, for example. This article explains how to buy credits, how to follow transactions and how many credits each operation uses.
Purchases are made on the Configuration > Billing screen. This menu is visible to users with the View Company Settings permission and only on the web; it is not in the mobile app. Buying and deleting a saved card require the company admin role or the Company Permission Settings permission; with only the view permission the packages are shown but the Buy buttons are disabled. The Digital Credit box in the top bar (remaining balance) is visible only to the main administrator account.
The screen has a section menu on the left: Overview, Subscription and Packages, Digital Credits, Wallet and Cards, Billing Details and Transaction History. On a narrow screen this menu runs horizontally at the top of the page. The screen opens on Overview; you can also click its Digital Credits, Wallet and Billing Details cards to open that section.
Before you start
You need the View Company Settings permission (Manage Permissions).
Have your billing details ready (first name, last name, company name, email, phone, country, city, town, address, zip code).
If you pay by card, keep your phone at hand for 3D Secure verification.
Step by step
1. Entering billing details
In the left menu, go to Configuration > Billing, or click the Digital Credit box in the top bar, then choose Billing Details in the section menu. If your billing details are missing, a red dot appears next to this section and Overview shows "Complete your billing details before making a purchase."
Fill in the required fields on the Billing contact (First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email Address, Phone) and Billing address (Country, City, Town, Address, Zip / Postal Code) cards. If the country is Türkiye, you pick the city and town from a list. Tax ID and Tax Office / Location on the Tax details card are optional. If invoices should also go to other people, click Add on the Invoice Additional Contacts card and enter their email and phone.
Click Save at the top right. When you change a field, an Unsaved Changes bar appears at the bottom; you can also save with its Save button, or undo your changes with Discard.
If you try to leave the page without saving, you are asked "You have unsaved changes to your billing details. Leave the page?". Switching to another section of the screen does not lose what you typed.
Without billing details the Buy buttons on the packages stay disabled and "You must fill in your Billing Information to receive Digital Credit." is shown; Go to Billing Information in that warning takes you to this section.
2. Buying a package
Choose Digital Credits in the section menu. The strip at the top shows your Remaining credits and what credits are spent on; below it are the Packages and Credit prices tabs. The section opens on the Packages tab, where every package fits on the screen without scrolling. Each package shows the number of credits, the price excluding VAT and the price per credit (… per credit); discounted packages show the old price struck through, with the discount in the badge at the top right of the card. The package with the lowest price per credit shows the Best value badge next to its price per credit. Prices are shown in one currency based on your company's country: lira if your company is in Turkey, USD if it is in another country.
Click Buy on the package you want. The Secure payment window opens with a purchase summary at the top (number of credits and the amount including VAT).
Continue according to the payment method:
If your wallet balance covers the package, "You Have Sufficient Wallet Balance" is shown together with how much is taken from each balance (coupon, lira, dollar and the exchange rate used). Click Pay … from Wallet. The order in which balances are used is explained under 3. Wallet and saved cards below.
If it does not, choose one of your saved cards under Payment method, or turn on Add New Card and enter the card details (optionally turn on Keep this card. and give a Card Name). Base Price, any Discount, VAT (20%) and Total Amount are shown below. Click Pay ₺…. Only the amount your balance is short of is charged to the card. If your wallet has a debt (for example a spent top-up was refunded to your card), the window shows the debt and adds it to this payment: the amount charged to your card settles the debt first and then the package is bought. A card you want to keep is added to your saved cards only if the payment succeeds.
If your bank asks for 3D Secure verification, the same tab moves to your bank's verification screen; enter the code sent to your phone. To give up, use the cancel option on the bank's screen.
With a card payment the package is bought from your wallet automatically and "Digital credit loaded successfully." appears. After 3D Secure verification this message is shown on the result screen and after a few seconds you are taken back to Payment Information with the updated balance. Click Back to Payment Information to go back right away, or Stay on this page to keep reading the message. You do not need to do anything else.
Even if Pay is clicked twice or the purchase is made from two tabs at once, your balance is used for one package only.
Payments are taken through iyzico. For more than 1000 credits, click Get an Offer on the 1000+ Credit card next to the packages, enter the Credit Amount in the 1000+ Credit Offer Request window and click Get an Offer; you will get a reply by email.
3. Wallet and saved cards
Choose Wallet and Cards in the section menu. Dollar balance, Lira balance and Coupon balance are shown on separate cards.
If you were given a coupon code, type it in the Redeem a coupon code card and click Redeem. The coupon amount is added to your Coupon balance. If the code is not found, has expired or was already used, the reason appears under the field.
The How is your balance used? card shows the order in which your balance is used in purchases:
Your coupon balance is used first.
For purchases priced in lira, your lira balance is used first, then your dollar balance at the day's exchange rate.
For purchases priced in dollars, your dollar balance is used first, then your lira balance at the day's exchange rate.
You pay any remaining amount by card.
So your lira and dollar balances are used in both directions: a company in Turkey can also spend its dollar balance on a lira-priced package, and a company in another country can also spend its lira balance on a dollar-priced package.
The Saved cards card lists the cards you keep with iyzico (card name, last four digits, card type, bank and expiry date). To delete a card, click the bin icon next to it and click Delete in the Delete card confirmation. This cannot be undone. If you have no saved card, the card says "You have no saved cards. You can save your card during your next payment."; this is not an error.
Your card details are stored by the payment provider iyzico; Teamso does not keep your card number.
4. Following transactions
Choose Transaction History in the section menu and pick the list with the tabs at the top; each tab shows its number of transactions:
Credit Transactions: Credits Loaded, Credits Used and Card Payment entries, with date, credits and payment amount.
Wallet Transactions: top-ups to the wallet and spending from the wallet. If Teamso refunds a card top-up to your card, the refunded part is taken off the balance as an Expenses entry with the description Card refund. If the top-up was already spent, the balance goes below zero; that debt is added to your next card payment.
Type a transaction, amount or description in the search box. Use the Date chip for a date range and the Transaction chip for one or more kinds (for example Credits Used, Loads, Expenses); Clear all removes the filters. Use Sort to order by date, transaction, credits or amount; clicking a column header does the same (ascending, descending, off).
The lists are paged; you can change the number of rows per page at the bottom. On screens narrower than 900 pixels the transactions show as record cards. For the full list that also has subscription and licence payments, see Payment and Licence History (Subscription and payment). The Recent credit activity card on Overview shows the last five entries; See all opens this section.
In the Credit Transactions tab, used credits show the action they were spent on underneath (for example AI CV evaluation or Announcement text message). This shows for spending after 1 November 2026; older rows only say Credits Used.
5. Seeing the credit prices
Choose Digital Credits in the section menu and open the Credit prices tab. The Which action costs how much? See the credit prices link in the Secure payment window also opens this tab. The tab is kept in the address, so reloading the page or sharing the link opens the same tab.
The list shows each action's name, category (AI, Text messages, Timestamp), unit (for example per CV, per person) and Cost. Type an action's name in the search box or pick a category with the Category chip.
Teamso sets the prices; when a price changes, the list and the badges next to the AI buttons show the new cost by themselves. Every user in the company can see the list but cannot change it.
How many credits each operation uses
The current costs are always in the Credit prices tab of the Digital Credits section; the table below shows the default costs.
Operation | Credits |
Expense receipt/invoice OCR (AI) analysis | 2 |
Chatbot answer | 7 |
Creating a celebration image/video with AI | 20 |
AI CV evaluation | 1 per CV |
AI job description | 1 |
Quick policy set (AI) | 1 per policy (only the policies AI wrote; template policies are free) |
Get to know your company (setup wizard, AI) | 1 |
An employee approving their payslip with a timestamp | 1 |
Deleting a payslip | 1 |
"Payslip sent" SMS | 1 per SMS |
Creating leave with a timestamp | 1 per employee |
Deleting leave | 1 |
Submitting an expense form | 1 |
Approving an expense with a timestamp | 1 |
Deleting an approved expense | 1 |
Converting overtime to leave or pay | 1 (1 per record in bulk conversion) |
Deleting overtime | 1 |
Approving an e-document with a timestamp | 1 |
Inventory assignment form | 1 |
Sending employee data entry for approval / approving it | 1 each |
E-Welcome document approval | 1 |
E-Welcome phone verification | 1 (only on the first successful verification) |
Sending an announcement by SMS | 1 per recipient |
Sending the sign-in verification code by SMS (MFA) | 1 per SMS |
Next to the AI buttons a badge shows what the action costs (for example 1 credit). When you click the button, the Credit use window shows the cost and your credit left; Continue starts the action. Credit is spent only when the result is produced: when the AI fails, times out or falls back to a ready template or rules, nothing is spent, and the same result is never charged twice.
The one-time verification SMS sent before timestamped operations does not use credits, but your balance must cover that operation's cost to start it. If Teamso set an operation's cost to 0, no balance is needed for it. Payroll calculation is charged to a separate payroll credit, not to Digital Credits (Payroll overview).
What happens when credits run out
Timestamped operations cannot be started; the "Insufficient Digital Credit" window or the warning "Contact your manager regarding Teamso Digital Credit." appears.
OCR analysis is not run; the expense receipt is saved without analysis.
AI actions (CV evaluation, job description, quick policy set) do not start; the Not enough credit window shows the credits needed and left. Buy credit takes you to the Digital Credit section of this screen. If you selected several CVs or policies, the window shows the selection summary and your balance; if your credit covers only part, only that many are done with AI (the first CVs; in the quick policy set the rest come from the template).
In the setup wizard, the AI is skipped in the Get to know your company step; module suggestions come from the sector rules and the wizard carries on.
The chatbot does not answer and says there are not enough credits.
The sign-in verification code is sent by email instead of SMS (Security and access settings).
When the balance drops to 10 credits or below, users with the Manager Mail View permission receive a reminder email once. It is not sent again with every operation while the balance stays low; after you load credits, it is sent once more if the balance drops to 10 credits or below again.
Result
Purchased credits are added to your balance immediately and shared by all users of the company.
