This article explains how to add CVs that don't come through the career page to the CV Pool, and how to have candidates analysed and scored by AI. Users with Manager Permission or Hiring Permission do this. AI analysis uses Teamso digital credit for every CV it evaluates (by default 1 credit per CV; the current cost is in the Credit prices list).
Before you start
CVs must be PDFs of at most 5 MB each.
Manual entry links the candidate to a posting, so the posting must exist (Creating a job posting).
To score against a job description, have the description text or an active posting ready.
Step by step
Uploading CVs
From the left menu go to Growth and hiring > Recruitment and open the CV Pool tab.
Click Upload CV and choose a method:
Upload with AI: drag up to 5 PDFs into the window or click the area to choose them. Each file uploads as soon as it is chosen and its row shows the status: Uploading, Uploaded or Not uploaded (a file that is not a PDF, is larger than 5 MB or is not a real PDF). For a file that did not upload, click Try again or remove it. Then click Send to Analyse; the total cost (for example 3 credits) shows next to the button; the window shows a "3 CVs selected · 3 credits · … credits left" summary and you click Continue. If your credit covers only part of them, Analyse the first … CVs sends that many and the other rows say Not sent: not enough credit; Buy credit lets you load credit first. With no credit the Not enough credit window opens. The sent files turn to Analysing; if the window stays open they show Analysed when the analysis ends. You can close the window, the analysis continues in the background. Closing the window without sending deletes the uploaded files. A separate candidate is created for each file; AI extracts details such as name, contact, experience and education from the CV. While the analysis runs, the candidate is listed under the Processing tab with "CV being analysed" and the file name instead of a name, and can't be opened.
Enter Manually: in the Add Candidate form fill in Name, Surname, Email, phone, Age, Gender, Location, University, Years of Experience, Salary Expectation and Applied Job Post, attach the CV (PDF, up to 5 MB) and save.
Sending candidates for analysis and scoring
In the CV Pool, select the candidates to analyse with the boxes on the left (up to 5) and click Send to Analyze in the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen. For a single candidate you can also use Send to Analyze in the row's Actions menu.
In the Reanalyze CVs window choose the Analysis Type:
Basic CV Parser: parses the CV into standard fields like name, contact, experience and education.
Skill Set-Based Parser: scans the CV for the skills you enter (e.g. Java, Python, React) and scores the candidate. Separate skills with commas.
Job Description-Based Parser: evaluates the CV against a job description and produces a compatibility score. Use a posting's description with Select Active Job Posting or enter the text yourself (up to 5000 characters).
Click Reanalyze and click Continue in the Credit use window. The cost is one per selected candidate and is spent only when the analysis is done. If your credit covers only part of them, Analyse the first … CVs sends the first candidates; with no credit the Not enough credit window opens. Candidates that could not be analysed for lack of credit show Not analysed: not enough credit in the list; after loading credit, analyse them again with Send to Analyse.
When the analysis finishes, the score appears in the Score column of the CV Pool. For details open the candidate and go to the Analyze tab: the AI Summary, Extracted Skills, Requirements Extracted From Description and the score are there. The score band is shown as:
85 and above: Excellent Match
70–84: Good Match
50–69: Moderate Match
below 50: Weak Match
Result
Each uploaded CV is a separate candidate in the CV Pool with the New Candidate status. If a record with the same email and phone exists, the records are merged automatically (Duplicate candidate records).
Every analysis is kept in the candidate's history; the newest is labelled Latest. The candidate's Activity History gets a "completed CV analysis" entry.
The AI score supports your decision; the final evaluation is yours.
Common problems

Fix: Select at most 5 candidates.

Symptom: "An error occurred during CV analysis. Please try again."
Cause: The upload or analysis request failed.
Fix: Check that the file is a PDF under 5 MB and try again.
