Payroll glossary (gross/net, SSI days, tax bases, exemptions)

Explains terms used on the payroll screens, in the preview breakdown and in reports, such as gross/net, SSI premium days, SSI and income tax bases, cumulative base, minimum wage exemption, stamp tax, employer share, incentives, partial-month proration…

This glossary explains, in plain language, the terms you see on Teamso's payroll screens. Amounts are calculated by the payroll calculation service integrated with Teamso; rates and limits are that year's statutory parameters. You can see the current values on Payroll > Settings > Payroll Parameters (read-only). This glossary does not quote statutory figures.
