Finding module reports (leave, payroll)

Explains that the Reports module has no ready-made reports, and from which menu and with which permission you reach the ready-made reports of modules such as Leave and Payroll.

My Reports in the Reports module only lists the custom reports that you and your teammates have saved; it has no ready-made (template) reports. Ready-made reports of modules such as Leave and Payroll are in that module's own menu and open with that module's permission. This article tells you where to find them.

Before you start

  • You need a permission in the module whose report you want to open (see the table below).

  • For payroll reports the payroll period must be closed.

If the information you need isn't in a ready-made report (e.g. leave records of one branch's employees with columns you choose), create a custom report in the Reports module: tables such as Employee Leave, Leave Type, Payroll and Payroll Sheet are available too.

Result

A module report opens on that module's screen and is produced under that module's rules (e.g. payroll only for closed periods). It is not added to My Reports in the Reports module.
