This article explains how to use the Transaction History section of the Company Settings screen. Users with the View Company Settings permission can see it. Here you track which employee did what, when, and whether the action succeeded.
Before you start
You need the View Company Settings permission (Manage Permissions).
Step by step
In the left menu, go to Configuration > Company settings.
In the settings menu on the left, click Transaction History under the Security group.
Narrow down the list with the toolbar above it:
Type a name or action in the Search person or action box.
Pick a person in the User chip: the records they made and the ones that affected them stay.
Pick the module the action was made in (e.g. Leave, Payroll) in the Module chip.
Pick a result in the Status chip and a date range in the Date chip.
Clear all removes every filter; Sort orders by date, person, action or status. Paging is under the list.
To see a record's details, click the button in the Details column. The window shows the Operation, the Result and, if there was an error, its message. The Technical Details part is for sharing with the support team.
The list has these columns: Date, Transacting Personnel, Personnel Affected by the Transaction, Action, Status and Details.
Status | Meaning |
Successful | The action was completed. |
Unsuccessful | The action could not be done (e.g. missing or invalid data, record not found, the approval was not the user's turn). Actions that showed a warning on screen and changed nothing are recorded with this status too. |
Denied | The user did not have permission for this action. |
Failed | A system error occurred during the action. |
Result
Records are read-only; they cannot be changed or deleted from this screen. When an E-Welcome candidate is transferred to an existing employee, the employee's changed e-mail, phone and IBAN are recorded for that employee too; the values are masked (e.g. the last 4 digits of the IBAN). Opening and closing of Teamso support sessions and support access grants are also written to these records (Teamso Support Access).
