Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions asked most when starting with Teamso: adding employees, signing in, expense approvals and reports, support, subscription renewal, demos, data security and the problems Teamso solves.

How do I add a new employee to Teamso?

Add employee window

On People > Employee list, click Add.

  1. Fill in the starred fields (name, surname, gender, nationality, ID number, branch, phone, email, password).

  2. If you want the employee to get a link to set their password by email, leave Send Email Login Information on. The password is never sent by email.

  3. Click Save.

Details: Adding an employee. For many employees at once: Bulk adding employees with Excel.

How are employee expense approvals staged?

Expense approval process
  1. Go to Configuration > Expenses > Approval process.

  2. With Add, pick departments and define up to three approval levels. At each level you can choose a specific person or the employee's Direct Manager; for example level 1 the manager, level 2 HR, level 3 finance.

Expenses from a department without an approval process go straight to Payment Pending when they are sent for approval. Details: Setting up the expense approval process, Approval Process.

How do I get in touch when I need support with Teamso?

Send feedback in the account menu
  • Write to the support team from the chat bubble at the bottom right of the app.

  • Click your name at the top right (1) and choose Send feedback (2) to send a message in the Question and Feedback window.

  • For guides, open Help center at the bottom of the left menu.

How do I log in to Teamso as a company employee?

  1. On the teamso.com sign-in screen or in the Teamso mobile app, choose the Email or Phone tab and type your email address or phone number.

  2. Click Continue, enter your password and click Login.

Who can add employees, and can I add them in bulk?

Users with the Add Employee List permission add employees one at a time with People > Employee list > Add (Adding an employee) or in bulk from Excel with Actions > Bulk Add Employee (Bulk adding employees with Excel). If your package's user limit is reached, you are first asked to buy extra users (seats).

Who can help me with renewing my Teamso subscription?

The subscription renews automatically on its end date: payment is taken from your wallet balance first and, if that is not enough, from your saved card. Reminder emails arrive 7, 5, 3 and 1 days before the end date. You can see the subscription summary in Configuration > Billing. For questions about renewal, write to the support team from the chat bubble. Details: Subscription, extra user payment and license expiry.

Can I add a new expense type?

Yes. A user with Expense Manager Permission adds a new type with Add expense type on the Configuration > Expenses > Expense types page and can set an amount limit for it. The approval process is set up by the employee's department, not by expense type. Details: Defining expense types.

Can I produce an expense report in Teamso?

Yes. On Pay and expenses > Expenses, choose the date range and filters and click Download Excel (requires Expense Manager Permission). The file lists each expense group with amount, type and Status columns, so you can separate approved, pending and rejected expenses. The status cards and the date filter on the screen also give a summary. Details: Approving expense payments and getting expense reports. For your own report template: Creating a custom report.

How does Teamso help reduce paper use?

Leave, expenses, requests, e-documents, e-payslips and asset handover forms are created and approved digitally in Teamso. Leave, expense, e-document, e-payslip and asset handover form documents can be stamped with a TÜBİTAK Kamu SM timestamp. These actions use Digital Credits (Digital Credits). Approvals are given with an SMS-code digital confirmation, not with a qualified electronic signature (e-signature).

Where is my company's data stored?

As stated on Teamso's security page (teamso.com/en/security), the data of companies operating in Türkiye is hosted in data centres within Türkiye and is not transferred abroad. Personal data (such as name, email and phone) is stored encrypted in the database, and permissions decide who sees what (Manage Permissions).

Does Teamso protect personal data?

Yes. Personal data is stored encrypted, every user sees only the records they have permission for, and actions in your company are recorded in Transaction History (Transaction History). Your company can turn on security options such as extra sign-in verification, IP restriction and account lockout (Security and access settings). For deletion requests: How do I request deletion of my personal data?

How do I get a demo account?

Fill in the contact form with the Request Demo button on teamso.com. The Teamso team gets in touch with you and tells you the length and scope of the trial.

What problems can companies solve with Teamso?

Which industries does Teamso serve?

Teamso is not tied to one industry; it fits companies of every size, including teams that work in shifts, across many branches or in the field. For examples by industry, see the Sectors page on teamso.com.

What makes the difference when choosing HR software?

Having processes on one platform, everyone seeing only what they are allowed to, and approvals set up to match your company. In Teamso:

  • each module's permissions are granted separately (Manage Permissions),

  • approval chains are built by branch, department and level (Approval Process),

  • employees work with the same account on the web and in the mobile app (Mobile app),

  • AI assistants such as Claude can connect to Teamso with your own permissions (MCP).
